The purpose of the fund is to provide financial support for the performance and operating expenses of the Guild. Ticket sales cover only about 30% of the cost of each concert. We rely on grants, dues paid by members, and individual contributions to cover our annual expenses.
Management and Investment Strategy
Contributions to the Annual Fund are held in a checking account. Additional funds are set aside in an interest bearing reserve account. The Board of Directors manages the both accounts.
How the Fund May be Used
Funds may be used to pay for any expenses related to the operations of the Guild. The Board of Directors approves disbursement of funds.
Making a Gift to the Fund
Individuals who desire to give to the fund should designate that their gift is to “The Annual Fund.”

The Williamsburg Choral Guild is recognized as a nonprofit organization under the requirements of Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. To the extent permitted by law, contributions to the Guild are tax deductible.
